             FINAL ACT EMBODYING THE RESULTS OF THE
        URUGUAY ROUND OF MULTILATERAL TRADE NEGOTIATIONS

                  (VERSION OF 15 DECEMBER 1993)

                           Corrigendum


Final Act and its Annexes:

     Pursuant to agreement reached on 15 December 1993 among the
participants in the Uruguay Round negotiations, all references to
the "Multilateral Trade Organization", or to its abbreviated form
"MTO", should be replaced throughout the Final Act and all its
Annexes by the wording "World Trade Organization" or "WTO",
respectively.

PART II, Annex 1A, 13 (Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing
Measures):

þ    Article 8.1(b):  substitute "2(a), 2(b) or 2(c)" for "2(a)
or 2(b)".

     This change formally rectifies a reference which should have
appeared in the previous version of this Agreement, as a result
of the addition of a sub-paragraph "c" to paragraph 2.

PART II, A2 (Understanding on Rules and Procedures Governing the
Settlement of Disputes) (DSU):

þ    Appendix 2, page 21, under "Subsidies and Countervailing
Measures", delete "25.3 to"

     This change formally rectifies a situation which should have
been reflected in the final version of the DSU.
